LIZ MOORE
Liz Moore is the founder of Planning School, which provides education and training in contemporary strategic planning and change management, including courses designed for interpretive programs.
In addition to working with business and nonprofit leaders, Liz is a consultant and advisor for natural and cultural resource managers nationwide, consulting with many of the most complex units in the National Park Service. She has worked with over 1000 people in the NPS alone, many of whom are natural resource and cultural heritage interpreters. Her experience leading complex organizations includes overseeing production and planning for a $4.5M business aircraft and a term with Habitat for Humanity, where she managed 200+ volunteers and employees and worked with the development team.
Over the last 12+ years, Liz has focused on teaching, facilitating, and consulting on strategic planning, complex problem solving, change management, and team and leadership development nationwide. She has consulted nonprofits through start-ups, reorganizations, and rebranding. She had degrees in Organizational Leadership and Aeronautical Science.

JEAN KNAACK, Treasurer
Jean Knaack is the Chief Executive Officer of the Road Runners Club of America where she has served in the role since 2005. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Nutrition. She earned a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from George Mason University. She has extensive skills in organizational and financial development, board and member relations, and program planning and implementation.
